Trump's Granddaughter Receives Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Before LPGA First Appearance
The rising star boasts considerable social media presence
The young golfer can count on plenty of high-profile backers when she begins her professional golf debut later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous golf courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she mentioned.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Just stay calm."
"He essentially suggested to play and have fun," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments recently and holds the 461st position in AJGA standings.
But she can get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating Kai's mother.
"He is the best player in the world," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to compete, relax, and go with whatever happens."
She'll challenge some of most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that involving Kai brings golf to wider groups, especially among the next generation.
The young star has a massive following and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living label.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
