Two men have been charged related to a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and charges for deploying a toxic agent, as confirmed by court officials.

The charges follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A young child was among those injured during the incident. Five people were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a brief period.
